Taylor is a Los Angeles native with a lifelong dedication to the arts in the fields of filmmaking and museum practice. Her belief is that art belongs to the world and that if art lives, we all will. As a film and art history student at UC Berkeley, Taylor worked as a film archive assistant for Berkeley Museum and Pacific Film Archive, preserving film history and curating student film and art festivals. After graduation she transitioned to The Getty as a collections intern, and later to the curatorial department of The Autry Museum of the American West. Inspired by the narrative storytelling of the museum’s exhibition Behind Bars, Taylor pursued her Master of Fine Arts at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, becoming a graduate of The Peter Stark Producing Program.
During her time at USC she produced award winning short films, interned with Original Film, was teaching assistant of Diverse Voices in Film, launched USC's first Black Student Welcome, and became a signed writer with 3 Arts Entertainment.
Today, she works with Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Outreach and Social Impact team, as a college lecturer, and as an independent producer, continuing the pursuit of art in all mediums.
